£10,800 donated to local charities!

On Monday, Rototek held a cheque presentation donating £10,800 to local charities!

Every employee at both the Rototek Newark & Worksop sites had the opportunity to nominate a local charity or project to receive a donation, all individual nominations resulted in a £200 donation to their chosen charity through the Gusto Community Fund. The Gusto Community Fund uses the profit from Gusto Group companies to support local projects and good causes nominated by the Group employees. It’s designed to connect our employees with projects in their local community and empowers them to choose the organisations they want to support.

The Gusto Community Fund was born out of the Covid-19 pandemic when we saw how small community projects were positively impacting our local community. Using this inspiration and given that the Gusto Group is family-owned with core community values, this aligns perfectly with our ethos.

We hosted a cheque presentation at our Newark factory on 12th December, inviting the charities and good causes over for the morning so our employees could meet the people they chose to donate to. It was a brilliant day bringing so many charities together, with £10,800 being donated to the following charities:

  • Bassetlaw Foodbank

  • Hope Homelessness Charity

  • Newark Foodbank

  • Beaumond House

  • Newark Emmaus Trust
